The Georgia Arson Control Program, Inc. started in January 1979. The group established a toll-free Arson Hotline with a reward fund from which rewards are given to individuals who come forward with information that results in the arrest and conviction of arsonists. |

Procedures are used to safeguard the identity of informants who wish to remain anonymous and juveniles, whose identities are required to be kept confidential because of their age.
